Project Description

General ultrasound

Ultrasound uses sound waves to produce photographs of the internal structures of the body. It is used to help diagnose the causes of pain, swelling and infection in the internal organs of the body, and the brain and hips in young children.. It is also used to help guide biopsies, diagnose heart conditions and assess damage after a heart attack Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive and does not use ionizing radiation.

This procedure requires little or no special preparation. The doctor will instruct you on how to prepare, including whether you should refrain from eating or drinking beforehand. Leave jewelry at home and wear loose and comfortable clothes.. You may be asked to wear a dressing gown.

What is diagnostic imaging with general ultrasound?

Ultrasound is safe and painless. Produces images of the inside of the body using sound waves. Ultrasound images are also known as ultrasound scanning or ultrasound. It uses a small probe called a transducer and a gel that is placed directly on the skin. High frequency sound waves travel from the probe through the gel and into the body. The probe picks up the bouncing sounds. A computer uses those sound waves to create an image. Ultrasound exams do not use radiation such as (like the one used in x-rays). Because the images are captured in real time, they can show the structure and movement of the internal organs of the body. They can also show blood flowing through the blood vessels.

Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive medical exam that helps doctors diagnose and treat medical conditions. Opening hours
